This session will provide an enhanced understanding of the variety of conservation tools that are available to you to protect natural resources in your community.

Community Group Work
- Familiarize yourself with your town-owned lands and their levels of protection. Are any of these lands managed for wildlife? Is there potential for future conservation or management?
- Review your commission's strategy for prioritizing lands overall for conservation, such as, a checklist, conservation plan, informal strategy etc. Review the Wildlife Action Plan maps and data for your town and consider how these can be used to help you prioritize areas for conservation.
