- Learn the basics of Local Regulatory and Planning Tools (Chapter 9 from the NHACC Handbook). Review basic Zoning concepts, Environmental Characteristics Zoning and Cluster development sections, but dig in to the additional detail if you want more)
- Wildlife Habitat Improvement Fact Sheets - Woodlands, Wetlands, and Farmlands
Community Group Work
- Meet as a group and complete your town's land management/land-use planning inventory. If you are not able to meet, break up the work and share the information and results with each other via email and then compile into the inventory.

- Buffers website
- 50 ft. buffers are the current norm and some communities have 100 ft buffers to protect sensitive resources. For example, Northwood has a 100 ft. buffer but most are 50ft; Laconia has vernal pool buffer of 100 ft.
